Insurance Coverage

Due to the health concerns that are caused or amplified by being severely overweight, many health insurance plans provide benefits for this type of procedure. Once you are approved as a candidate for the program, a member of Dr. Kaplan’s team will help determine if your insurance plan provides the necessary coverage. Insurance verification can also be obtained by calling 1.800.LAPBAND Option 3.

Financing
In the event that your health insurance policy does not afford coverage for weight loss surgical procedures, special private pay financing options can be arranged through a national lending organization*. If you are interested financing your surgery costs, a member of Dr. Kaplan’s team can provide you with all necessary information for your financing application.
